Mr. Kwadwo Nkansah Fordjour is an accomplished academic and finance professional with a wealth of experience in teaching, research, marketing and community service. He joined the Board of Directors of Otuasekan Rural Bank PLC on 1st August, 2024, bringing to the Bank a strong blend of academic excellence and industry knowledge that support effective governance and strategic decision-making.

Mr. Nkansah-Fordjour holds a Master of Science degree in Business Administration (Finance Option), a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing (CIM-UK) and an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Finance from the Institute of Commercial Management (ICM-UK). He is currently pursuing a PhD in Business Administration (Finance Option) at the International School of Management (ISM), France and is also undertaking studies in Petroleum Law and Policy at the University of Dundee – UK.

Within Kumasi Technical University, Mr. Nkansah-Fordjour has held several leadership roles including, Liberty Hall Master (2007-2009), Head of Marketing Department (2009-2011) and Deputy Director, International Affairs and Institutional Linkages.

He was Regional Vice Chairman of the Ghana Red Cross Society (2011-2015) and has contributed to various community initiatives. He is also a former member of the Academic Board of Kumasi Technical University.

Mr. Nkansah-Fordjour has participated in numerous seminars and workshops and has authored research work on topics including the Determinants of Capital Structure of the Listed Firms of Ghana Stock Exchange: A Test of Pecking Order Theory. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing-Ghana (CIMG), the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM-UK) and a student member of ACCA.

He is proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint, word, Excel and SPSS and has working knowledge in statistical software like E-Views, which enhances his research and analytical capabilities.

Mr. Nkansah-Fordjour’s vast academic, professional and community service experience makes him a valuable asset to the Board of Otuasekan Rural Bank PLC, as the Bank continues to improve the living standards of its clients and the people in the community it operates.

Mr. Effa Frempa Kofi was appointed as a Board Member of Otuasekan Rural Bank PLC in July 2024. He holds a Commonwealth Executive Master of Business Administration (CEMBA) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

Mr. Effa was employed by controller and Accountant General’s Department. He was an Assistant Accountant at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi. He became the Ashanti Regional Head of Inspectorate of Controller and Accountant General’s Department. He later served as the Director of Finance of six (6) Municipal and District Assemblies – Ahafo Ano South, Sekyere East, Offinso South, Adansi North, Atwima Nwabiagya and Bekwai Municipal over a span of 24 years. He provided strategic leadership in public financial administration and retired as a Chief Accountant in the year 2020.

Ernest Owusu Yeboah Esq.is a lawyer with Obeng Manu Law firm and has been in Private Practice with the same Law Firm for almost 7 years. He also had stints with Bentsi-Enchill Lesta & Ankomah as an intern where he served with the Business and Industry Department.

Before being called to the Bar, Ernest Owusu Yeboah Esq. was a Social Welfare Officer with in the Upper Denkyira West District Assembly.

He holds a Degree in Political Studies (History Minor) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, an LLB from the University of London (External Law Programme) and a BL from the Ghana School of Law.

Professional Training

Ernest Owusu Yeboah Esq. offers legal services and advise to number of Companies and Organizations and invariably plays leading roles in these said institutions which include; The Help Society International (NGO) and WAPCASS.

He was appointed as the Board Secretary of Otuasekan Rural Bank PLC in 2024 and brings invaluable experience to help usher the institution to greater heights.

Very experienced professional in public finance, budgeting and Local Government Administration. He joined the Board of Directors on 16th June, 2025 bringing his financial and administrative skills to support effective governance in Rural Banking.

Mr. Appiah Nsiah holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Banking and Finance option), Post Graduate Certificate in Local Government Senior Management course, Certificate in Budgeting and Financial Management and Bachelor of Arts in Economics.

Mr. Nsiah (now retired from active service) has worked in MMDAs for over 30 years. He has woked in Ejura Sekyedumase, Offinso, Asante Akim South and Obuasi Municipal Assemblies where he rose through the rank to become a Chief Budget Analyst (Director in Budget Class). He was the Director of Budget and Rating at the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly.

He has also acted as Regional Budget Analyst for Ashanti Region and Coordinating Director at Obuasi and KMA in the absence of the substantive officers as the administrative heads of the institutions.

Mr. Isaac Nsiah has been a Board Member of Opoku Ware School, Kofiase, Adventist SHS and Bantama Model School. He was an Examiner (Team leader) in Economics for WAEC examinations in Ordinary and Advanced levels, SSSCE & WASCE for 24 years. He was economics and business management teacher for three years.

Mr. Appiah Nsiah has contributed a lot to some of the documents on public financial management and Budget reforms issued by the Fiscal Decentralization and Budget Units of the Ministry of Finance. These include Composite Budget Manual for MMDAs, Internally Generated Fund Strategy and Guidelines for the fixing of rate, fees and licenses in MMDAs He has imparted his rich knowledge & skills in public financial management through training of staff in the Budget class and Departments in many MMDAs.

Mr. Isaac Nsiah Appiah has exhibited leadership roles in Civil Servants Association and Civil and Local Government Staff Association (CLOGSAG). He has been a chairman, secretary and trustee on different times in Obuasi, Asante Akim South and Offinso Municipalities.Through hardwork and innovations, he has was adjudged the Best Worker in two MMDAs (Offinso and Asante Akim South)

He has been a member, chairman or focal person for many key technical committees’ in the MMDAs he worked in (These include the Chairman of Public Private Partnership Committee of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly).

Mr. Appiah Nsiah has participated in numerous training programmes in Public Financial Management, Project management, Planning  and many others.

Mr. Isaac Nsiah Appiah’s professional and leadership experience make him suitable for the position as Director of Otuasekan Rural Bank PLC to provide his skills to improve governance and profitability of the Bank.

Mr. Stephen Owusu-Gyamfi is a distinguished Accounting and Finance Professional with over three decades of expertise across the manufacturing sector, public sector, and non-banking financial institutions. His career reflects a steadfast commitment to financial excellence, strategic leadership, and institutional growth.

 Mr Owusu-Gyamfi began his career as an Accounting Officer at Mim Timber Company (1993–1996) before advancing to the role of Assistant Accountant at Naja David Veneer and Plywood (BONDPLEX) (1996–1997). In 1998, he joined the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), where he initially served in the Internal Audit Department before assuming the role of Branch Accountant in Sunyani. Over his illustrious tenure, he worked at SSNIT branches in Asante Mampong, Sefwi Wiawso, Obuasi, and Adum-Kumasi.

His leadership capabilities were further recognised when he acted as Branch Manager for the Adum-Kumasi office (July–October 2020), culminating his service as a Deputy Manager (Accounts) upon retirement. Mr Owusu-Gyamfi holds a Master of Science (MSc) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Accounting and Finance from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), complemented by an ICA(Gh) Intermediate Certificate.

In 2025, he was appointed as a Director of Otuasekan Rural Bank PLC for his first term, underscoring his strategic financial acumen.
His leadership extends to roles such as, Chairman, Finance Committee, Parochial Church Council (PCC), St. Cyprian Anglican Cathedral, Kumasi, and President, Ahafo Professional Club.

With deep-rooted proficiency in accounting, auditing, and financial management, Mr Owusu-Gyamfi has cultivated specialised knowledge in:
. Timber Industry Finance, with expertise in operational accounting and financial oversight within the sector.
. Social Security Administration, with insightful understanding of pension systems and public financial management, bolstered by his research on “Workers’ Perception Of The New Pension Reforms (Act 766) and Their Attitude Towards Retirement.”

He has enhanced his expertise through participation in high-impact workshops, including, Public Financial Management Act, Performance Management Systems, and Fraud Prevention and Risk Management.
